Tax Documentation Page
Description
The Tax Documentation page gives tax and operations teams one place to monitor documentation health across all account owners, instead of reviewing records one by one. It is designed to support continuous monitoring throughout the year so teams can identify missing, invalid, or stale documentation before year-end. The page is organized around three core jobs:
- Monitor account owner documentation at a glance.
- Resolve curable documentation issues.
- Re-solicit for updated submissions when new documentation is needed.
The Tax Documentation Page allows you to review documentation records associated with the following form types:
- W-9: A U.S. tax form completed by U.S. persons to certify their tax status and provide their taxpayer identification number (TIN).
- W-8BEN: A tax form completed by non-U.S. individuals to certify foreign status and, when applicable, claim treaty benefits.
- W-8BEN-E: A tax form completed by non-U.S. entities to certify foreign status and, when applicable, claim treaty benefits.
- W-8IMY: A tax form completed by foreign intermediaries, flow-through entities, or certain U.S. branches for U.S. withholding and reporting purposes.
- Self-Certification: A form used to collect account owner information for global reporting regimes such as CARF, DAC8, and CRS.
- DPS: A Digital Platform Seller interview used to collect seller information needed to support MRDP reporting requirements, including DAC7 and related local regimes.
