Reconciliation Reports

Taxbit has made it easier than ever to quickly and efficiently reconcile data with the Taxbit Dashboard to ensure accurate form generation and filing.

On‑Demand Reports to Aid Reconciliation

The following types of reports are most helpful in data reconciliation within the Taxbit Dashboard. See below for more details.

  • Account IDs
  • Transaction IDs
  • Form Data IDs
  • Reconciliation Counts
  • Transaction Counts

For more information on the other reports available, as well as for how to access reports, please refer to this guide: Reports Page - Overview

Account IDs

The Account IDs report enumerates all Account IDs successfully ingested into the Taxbit Dashboard, providing a comprehensive list to support reconciliation and downstream analysis.

Use this report to validate that your account population is fully present in the Taxbit Dashboard before filing or further QA and to pull a canonical list of Account IDs to cross‑reference with internal lists or to share with internal stakeholders for investigations or cleanup tasks.

For more information on the Account IDs report, please refer to the following guide: Account IDs Report

Transaction IDs

The Transaction IDs report enumerates all Transaction IDs successfully ingested into Taxbit, similar in purpose to the Account IDs report but focused on transaction activity data.

Use this report to reconcile end‑to‑end that the transactions you expect to be in Taxbit are present (by ID) and identify potential gaps when counts or specific records don’t align with your source logs; as well as to extract a list of Transaction IDs for deeper, account‑level investigation or to facilitate corrections and re‑ingestion where needed.

For more information on the Transaction IDs report, please refer to the following guide: Transaction IDs Report

Form Data IDs

The Form Data IDs report provides a quick way to enumerate accounts for which Form Data has been ingested (by form type), surfacing the IDs you need to review or update form‑ready values outside of raw transaction flows.

This aligns with Taxbit’s Form Data ingestion approach, which allows you to send final, form‑ready data when you prefer not to send raw transactions for specific form types (e.g., 1099‑series, 5498).

In related workflows (e.g., QA and eligibility reviews), Taxbit provides exports of the current Form Data values that would populate each account’s form, using the same templates you use for ingestion — enabling straightforward edits and re‑ingestion when necessary.

Use this report to confirm which accounts have ingested Form Data by form type to scope review and approvals before generation/filing, as well as coordinate updates by exporting IDs (and, where applicable, the Form Data export) so teams can adjust values using familiar CSV templates and re‑ingest cleanly.

Reconciliation Counts

Provides key aggregated data points that help you spot discrepancies between what exists in your source systems and what has been successfully ingested into Taxbit. It includes aggregated counts across your ingested data so you can quickly confirm alignment and decide where to investigate next.

Use this report to quickly validate overall totals to confirm your records align with the data ingested into Taxbit.

For more information on the Reconciliation Counts report, please refer to the following guide: Reconciliation Counts Report

Transaction Counts

Reflects the total number of historical transactions per user to help you validate that transaction activity has been fully and correctly ingested into the Taxbit Dashboard. It contains an aggregated count of historical transactions per user (account).

Use this report to compare high‑level activity counts against your source systems and determine whether more in-depth QA is needed.

Please note: Report downloads arrive as ZIP archives and may be split into multiple CSVs for large outputs (CSV files typically split at around 500k rows per file).
