TIN Format Validation Report
The TIN Format Validation report provides bulk visibility into whether a Tax Identification Number (TIN) matches the expected format for the selected jurisdiction, helping identify possible formatting issues, support remediation, and improve confidence before downstream reporting activities. Account Owner TIN records with a format validation result are included in this report for bulk review.

Understanding the Result
- A passing (VALID) syntax result means the identifier matches the expected jurisdiction format.
- A failing (INVALID) syntax result means the identifier does not match the expected format rules for the jurisdiction selected. Further details can be found in the “error_message” column.
- Please note: A failing syntax result does not necessarily mean the user entered the wrong person or entity information everywhere in the record. It means the identifier itself does not match the expected structure for the selected jurisdiction.
