Ingestion Methods

We understand that our clients typically have a multitude of systems where their account owner and/or transaction data is captured and maintained. As a result, Taxbit offers the flexibility to seamlessly ingest data in a variety of ways, primarily via the following two paths:

 

API Integration

TaxBit provides real-time and batch data ingestion through our robust APIs. Users can effortlessly transmit account owner and/or transaction data at their preferred intervals, or on an ad-hoc basis. Once transmitted, the data will be automatically stored within Taxbit’s platform, and is ready for any form generation or other crucial downstream functions in near real-time.

File Based

TaxBit offers a user-friendly, flat-file ingestion path, allowing users to easily upload account owner and/or transaction data to the Taxbit Dashboard via CSV or JSONL formats. Flat-files serve a multitude of purposes, from facilitating historical data backfills and accommodating high-volumes, including any updates to previously ingested data.
