Filers - CSV Ingestion Template Guide

Use this template to create or update filers in bulk in the Taxbit Dashboard. To create a new filer, leave filer_id blank and provide filer_name. To update an existing filer, provide the existing Taxbit-generated Filer ID in filer_id. A filer can be created with only a name, but additional information may be required before Taxbit can generate forms for the filer.

Please note: disposition_method cannot be changed through a bulk update, and form_1099_k_transaction_type cannot be changed after it has been set. If an update conflicts with the existing value for one of these fields, the row is rejected.
