Ending Inventory Report

The Ending Inventory Report provides a balance of each digital asset, for each account, as of UTC midnight of the day before.

See below for a description of each of the fields on the Ending Inventory report.

Field	Description
account_id	The unique ID of the account.
asset	The asset symbol/ticker represented in the row (e.g., BTC, ETH).
total_balance	Total units of the asset held at the report’s as‑of date, including all sub‑balances (staked, unstaked, and any lots missing basis). This is the sum of the balance components below.
balance_staked	Subset of total_balance currently staked or locked in staking programs at the as‑of date.
balance_unstaked	Subset of total_balance that is freely available (not staked) at the as‑of date.
balance_missing_cost_basis	Portion of total_balance for which cost basis is not present or not yet determined; typically requires investigation or backfill.
balance_with_cost_basis	Portion of total_balance for which cost basis is available; used in cost and valuation calculations.
basis_for_total_balance	Aggregate cost basis associated with total_balance at the as‑of date; reflects only the portion of holdings with known basis.
